This seminar is required for students pursuing a special education PreK-8 certification at the postbaccalaureate level. Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to use knowledge gained through prerequisite coursework and related observations to systematically evaluate the supportive systems currently practiced in familiar educational programs. The student will be able to comprehensively identify strengths, needs and develop a reflective summary and proposal of recommendations for improved procedures and practices to benefit students with disabilities.
