PA 452 - Didactic Clinical Experiences and Medical Documentation II

Provides opportunities for students to continue to develop appropriate skills in medical documentation and patient presentation. It is sequenced to allow students to further refine skills and build upon the experiences from the Didactic Clinical Experiences and Medical Documentation I course. Students will be expected to perform organized and thorough medical histories and physical examinations during inpatient hospital experiences, in addition to performing focused problem-specific medical histories and physical examinations during outpatient setting experiences. Medical documentation from the inpatient hospital experiences will include comprehensive histories and physical examinations, admit notes and appropriate orders. Clinical SOAP notes will be required for outpatient clinical experiences. Prerequisite:
