The interdisciplinary Women's Studies major is an opportunity for students to pursue their interests in diversity and to consider issues of social/political difference. Providing a concentrated area of study, the Women's Study major is a good choice of a second major for those contemplating careers in business, law, medicine, or other human services professions.

Major Requirements (30 credits)

Elective Courses (12 credits)

Students will choose 4 additional courses from the following: 2 courses must be 300 level or higher and must come from 2 different disciplines. Other options:

WS 250, 350, and 450, as well as WS 501, could fit any of the above three categories depending on the content of the course at the time it is taught.
