Education/Reading Program (MED/R), M.Ed.


Program


The program integrates with the existing MED program. The program is a path for the MED candidate which has a focus on reading /literacy in curriculum. The individual who chooses this path would complete the MED program with a concentration in reading and this will also prepare the student for the Praxis exam for Reading Specialist.

Program of Studies:


M.ED./R program is 30 credits.
All courses are three (3) credits unless noted otherwise.

  •  EXAM 501 - Non-credit examination

Graduation Requirements:


Any student wishing to graduate with a Master of Education degree must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (B) or higher, and take the Master’s Comprehensive Exam or complete a Master’s Thesis. (Contact the Graduate Education Office for more details.)
