EDUC 212 - Introduction to Pedagogy(3 credits)
Students will focus on classroom management, the basic skills of planning and delivering instruction, assessment strategies, and accommodations for special needs students. Students observe in a variety of school settings and teach model lessons to peers. The learner will develop an understanding that a teacher must be a reflective decision maker. Course requirements contribute to the collection and development of artifacts in working portfolios.Prerequisites: EDUC 101 and EDUC 210 .Fall.
