PHIL 406 - American Philosophy(3 credits) Study of the American pragmatist movement which focuses on the value and importance of philosophy for ordinary life; theories and ideas must be practical and be embodied in concrete human experience. Investigation of some basic writings of Charles Peirce, William James, and John Dewey.Prerequisite: PHIL 205 .As needed.
