PHYA 491 - History Taking and Patient Education Skills

This course will focus on preparing the student to perform an organized and thorough medical history and physical examination. In addition the course will address strategies that will empower students to become effective patient educators. Students will learn to glean information from patients and then to apply that information to patient education strategies that increase patient understanding and compliance.
