ENGT 201 - Intro Traditional and Renewable Energy TechnologiesSCI 201 (3 credits) This course explores both traditional and renewable energy generation technologies. Students will first learn the fundamentals of energy generation (conversion) and then specifically focus on traditional electricity generation technologies such as coal, natural gas, and nuclear as well as renewable resources such as wind, solar, and biogas. Field trips to local electricity generation plants are planned. Prerequisite(s): MATH 101 or higher Spring.
