Introductory course in real estate principles and real estate investment. Basic topics covered include types of deeds, transferring title, real estate contracts, closings, and hiring a real estate agent. Investment topics include advantages and disadvantages of real estate as an investment, mortgages, real estate tax shelters, direct and indirect investment in real estate and property management. Spring (even-numbered years).
