HIST 300 - Medieval and Renaissance Europe

Explores major developments of the Medieval and Renaissance periods, as well as investigates patterns of continuity and change between them. Topics focus on the social, cultural and political history of Europe in the twelfth through sixteenth centuries, including daily life, religious beliefs, social and cultural practices, and local and regional identities as reflected through, and expressed by, distinct languages, literature, and political institutions.
