BUSA 201 - Introduction to Business Analytics (3 credits) The course serves as a broad introduction to the field of business analytics. The course focuses on the proper deployment and use of data analytic tools and techniques that are successfully utilized by modern business organizations for competitive advantage. Students will study the origin of business data, its structure, and the need for data integrity for proper analysis. Students will be introduced to and utilize statistical scripting languages and various other software tools to analyze data for insights. Prerequisite(s): MATH 112 or MATH 121 , STAT 205 or STAT 301 , MIS 345 , and MIS 110 or CPSC 121 . Fall (odd numbered years).
