FRAN 430/431 - Seminar on Unity

(0/1 credit)
This course is designed to help the students involved in the Franciscan Experience to deepen their Catholic faith by addressing the transcendentals, specifically Unity. The course will focus on unity as embodied in relationships and the organic cohesion in the content of faith. The Catholic faith will provide the framework through which students will grow in their experiential knowledge of unity in the areas of history, philosophy, theology, art, literature, and morality. Students will read the Church Fathers, Scholastic theologians, and contemporary discourse regarding beauty, goodness, truth, and unity. They will learn how to appreciate unity wherever it is found.   FRAN 130/131 FRAN 230/231 FRAN 330/331 , and/or with instructor’s permission.
