PSYC 317 - Memory and Cognition

The experimental analysis of mental activities involved in the acquisition and use of information. Topics include neuroscience, perception, attention, memory, skill acquisition, language, conceptual knowledge, problem solving, and decision making. Applications to cognitive impairments will be emphasized. Prerequisite(s):    and select one from PSYC 311   or PSYC 310   or STAT 101   or STAT 205   or BIOL 315  or MATH 215  or other prior quantitative reasoning skills course with instructor permission.
