PSYC 322 - Psychology of Women and Gender (3 credits) This course will examine the ways in which individuals are and have been conceptualized in psychological theory and research, with a special emphasis on women. It will also investigate the ways in which gender and sex role identity affect individual experiences in a variety of areas including social relationships, achievement, and psychological adjustment. An objective analysis of sociocultural and historical influences on current controversies will be explored. Prerequisite: PSYC 101 . Spring, bi-annualy.
