EDUC 530 - Teaching and Learning Data Analysis and Probability

This course provides participants with a deep understanding of the mathematics knowledge needed for teaching Data Analysis and Probability across the PK-12 mathematics curriculum. Learners and learning, teaching, curriculum, and assessment will all be examined in relation to Data Analysis and Probability. Additionally, the intersection of mathematics education and social justice receives a close examination. Participants synthesize their knowledge and skills for mathematics education leadership at the school and district level. Fourteen (14) hours field experience required.
