Techniques used in the manipulation of DNA; laboratory methods needed to transfer genes from one organism to another; additional methods with wide application in molecular biology. Lecture and laboratory. Prerequisite(s): Satisfactory completion of BCHM 405L, BIOL 405L, or CHEM 405L. Co-requisite: BCHM 407. Spring in odd-numbered years, or as needed.
