ENVE 426 - Geotechnical Engineering (3 credits)
Introduction to the physical, hydraulic, and mechanical properties of soils with applications to slope stability analysis, design of retaining structures, earthen dam integrity, soil preparation techniques, and design of foundations. Includes a significant student design project. Prerequisite(s): ENGR 315 Mechanics of Materials and Lab Every other year, spring.
