MSCC 509 - Cancer Pharmacology

The Cancer Care Pharmacology course is designed to provide instruction on common cancer treatment modalities and specific medications that are frequently encountered during practice. Cancer Care Providers should be familiar with the current pharmacological recommendations for the most common types of cancer based on current professional practice. The overall goal of this course is to acquaint the student with common medications for cancer treatment and their impact on patient care, activities of daily living (ADLs), and overall quality of life. This course will meet weekly. There are no prerequisites for this course.
