BIOL 211 - Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy

Comparative anatomical study of adult vertebrates including man with some reference to functional implications; review of phylum Chordata, classification and evolutionary trends; brief introduction to embryonic development emphasizing significance of germ layers and tissues to an understanding of the comparative anatomy of the organ systems of chordates.
