CHEM 122 - General Chemistry II

Introduction to the discipline of chemistry with an emphasis on inorganic and analytical chemistry, covering kinetics, chemical equilibria, acid-base equilibria, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, nuclear chemistry, and interpretation of experimental data. This course is intended for science majors, pre-professional majors, and students interested in a chemistry minor. Three lecture periods and one four-hour laboratory. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 121. Spring.
