CHEM 322 - Physical Chemistry II

(same as PHYS 322 Dynamics and Quantum Mechanics) (4 credits)

Kinetics, enzyme catalysis, introduction to quantum mechanics, and quantitative treatment of atomic and molecular spectroscopy. Three lecture periods and one four-hour laboratory. Prerequisite(s): PHYS 105 or PHYS 122, MATH 122, and either CHEM 251 or ENGR 202 . CHEM 321 should be taken before CHEM 322 but exceptions may be granted with instructor’s permission. Spring, alternating years.
