NURS 303 - Care of Children

In this course, students learn and apply theory and caring concepts related to the care of children. The student begins to integrate genetics and evidence-based practices in nursing care. Includes children with health alterations, promoting and protecting health, maximizing optimal functioning and working with families. Lab simulations and clinical in hospitals and community settings. Prerequisite(s): Junior status and admission to the professional phase of the nursing program. Spring.
