PHIL 212 - Health Care Ethics (3 credits) An examination of how moral theory applies to the specialized duties of healthcare professionals, with a special focus on the application of natural law to clinical practice. Topics include the right to life and its applications to abortion and euthanasia, healthcare paternalism and autonomy, and the nature of death. Prerequisite: PHIL 105 or PHIL 110 . Fall, Spring, Summer.
