MGMT 410 - Healthcare Strategy and Policy Decisions (3 credits) This advanced-level course is intended to provide the learner with a broad overview of the health care system in the United States, while equipping the student with knowledge sufficient to make a thorough analysis of emerging policy decisions. The examination of the structure of the health care system will provide a forum for discussion and analysis of issues of current concern recently featured in the nation’s media. General principles of strategic planning and policy analysis, management evaluation, and behavior of public and private health care organizations at the local, state, and national level are covered.
