PUBH 301 - Health Promotion/Disease Management (3 credits) In this course students will build on fundamental knowledge and skills related to public health. They will demonstrate an understanding of health promotion constructs and theories that drive health behavioral change. Students will gain an understanding of how health promotion relates to the management and prevention of disease and how to empower the public to manage their medical conditions to improve their state of wellness. Students will apply theoretical concepts to develop a wellness program or disease management strategy for application in a community setting. Prerequisite(s):PUBH 110 . Fall.
