PSYC 420 - Canine Learning and Behavior (3 credits) This course combines the study of traditional and contemporary learning theories with an active canine-centered behavioral training experience. Topics include applied behavioral analysis and modification, the human-animal bond and animal-assisted therapy, education, and interaction. This course requires instructor permission to enroll and possible exceptions to pre-requisites. The course utilizes community engaged pedagogy. Lecture and laboratory. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 101 and PSYC 303 . Fall
