DOL 803 - Ethics Values and Decision Making for Executive Leaders

(3 credits)
In this course students will examine the ethical principles and leadership theories for making strategic executive decisions. Leaders are critical to foster a positive environment to maximize others’ potential through exceptional self-awareness, emotional intelligence, understanding of group dynamics, effective communications, building trust, and a foundation for implementing effective organizational strategies.  Students will explore ethical principles for practical application within diverse working environments. Through research and practice students will enhance their ability to practice ethical leadership and infuse ethical principles and theories in management, planning, design, evaluation, research, and policy development across a variety of organizational and community settings.  Fall.
