ZAAS 306 - Animal NutritionBIOL306 (3 credits)
Animal Nutrition will discuss the anatomy and physiology of different types of animal gastrointestinal tracts, classification and function of nutrients required in maintaining animal health, symptoms of nutrient deficiencies and toxicities, composition of animal feed, and formulation of diets. Special emphasis will be placed upon companion and zoo animal nutrition. Prerequisite(s): Satisfactory completion of BIOL 111 lecture and lab and CHEM 105 . Fall
