CORE II - Civic Responsibility and Citizenship

(3 credits)
In CORE II, students will consider what civic responsibility looks like in both local and global communities. They will explore responsible citizenship and the complex social, cultural, political, economic, and historical contexts which affect the world. This course will prepare students for our international, multicultural society and encourage them to be stewards of change working to find solutions to global problems. Students will be asked to consider, across a broad range of subjects, how their engagement in local, regional, statewide, national and/or international affairs impacts society and the environment.
