PHYA 480 - Behavioral Medicine I

This course will provide the student with an understanding of human behavior in health and illness. It will also provide an overview of mental illness with a special emphasis on performing the mental status exam and recognizing the major psychiatric illnesses and how they impact on the patient’s physical health and medical treatment.
