CPSC 402 - Algorithm Design and Analysis (3 credits)
Design and analysis of algorithms with an emphasis on problems involving strings, sequences and trees. The problems are generally taken from the domain of Computational Biology. There will be coverage of algorithm design techniques, the basics of asymptotic analysis of algorithms, NP-Completeness. Prerequisites: CPSC 221 MATH 130 As needed.
