NURS 440 - Palliative and Hospice Nursing Care (3 credits) This course will provide a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices involved in caring for individuals with life-limiting illnesses. Students will explore holistic approaches to symptom management, communication strategies, and ethical considerations in end-of-life care. Emphasis will be placed on fostering compassionate and culturally sensitive care and equipping the student to provide supportive care to patients and their families throughout the palliative care journey. Prerequisites: Junior Year Nursing Courses Spring/Summer
