MBA 566 - Data Visualization & Storytelling (3 credits) This course explores the role of data visualization in business decision-making, equipping students with the skills to transform complex data into clear, compelling visual narratives. Students will learn fundamental principles of data analysis, visual design, and cognitive perception, along with best practices for selecting appropriate chart types to enhance data-driven storytelling. The course covers both exploratory and explanatory visualization techniques, emphasizing their impact on strategic decision-making. Students will gain hands-on experience using advanced visualization tools to create interactive dashboards, static visualizations, and geographic maps, effectively communicating insights to diverse stakeholders.
