GEOG 223 - Human Geography with GIS

(3 credits)

A hands-on introduction to ArcGIS Online in the context of human geography, with particular emphasis on issues of health disparities and environmental justice. Students will learn the skills to investigate geographic questions through geographic information systems software, as well as develop a deeper understanding of societies and social interactions, including migration, food resources, and climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. Fall, as needed.
