AVI 240 - Introduction to Aviation Business (3 credits) This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the business aspects of the aviation industry. Students will examine the structure, economics, and operations of various aviation sectors including commercial airlines, general aviation, cargo operations, airports, and aerospace manufacturing. The course covers fundamental business principles as applied to aviation, including market analysis, financial management, regulatory environment, strategic planning, and emerging trends. Students will analyze case studies from major aviation companies and develop an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the aviation business environment. Prerequisites:ECON 101 Principles of Macroeconomics and BUS 101 Wall Street 101: Business in a Global Society
