This course examines the human factors principles and crew coordination techniques essential for safe aviation operations. Students will study communication strategies, decision-making processes, situational awareness, workload management, and teamwork dynamics within aviation environments. The course emphasizes practical application of CRM concepts through case studies, simulation exercises, and scenario-based learning. Topics include threat and error management, leadership styles, conflict resolution, and the integration of CRM principles across various aviation operations including flight operations, maintenance, air traffic control, and cabin crew coordination. Prerequisites: AVI 110 Private Pilot Theory
