PUBH 420 - Public Health Rotation 2

(6 credits)
This second public health rotation will consist of 360 hours of full-time experience under the on-site supervision of a member of the public health work force in the second half of the semester. The student will continue to evince competency in problem solving and application of all areas represented in the public health curriculum. The student is required to complete a terminal project using a full range of research methodologies. The final comprehensive written report will include all elements of quantitative and/or qualitative research. The student is expected to successfully complete a final oral defense of their project. Platform and/or poster presentations are disseminated to the general public and/or public health organizations. A member of the Saint Francis University Public Health program faculty provides joint supervision of the intern. The Public Health faculty member will monitor the student’s progress off site. Progress will be determined through the use of written evaluation tools. All public health major courses. Co-requisite: PUBH 430 . Any semester as needed.
