This course also explores the interconnections among ethics, laws, and health care policy by examining classic legal-medical ethics cases; legal rules and ethical principles; controversial issues, such as access to health care, beginning of life issues, patients’ rights, end-of-life issues, disorders of consciousness, medical malpractice, organ transplantation , and employee relations.
