Global Cultures and Languages Minor

Any language at the 202 level:

American Sign Language (ASL), French, German, Italian, Spanish, or another language (taken at another university or from an accredited study abroad program, or though the CLEP exam)

Language:

• Any other language at the 102/112 level or higher or
• LANG 103 - Language and Culture

Three additional courses from the following:

• ENGL 207 - History of the English Language
• HIST 337 - Topics in Modern Middle Eastern History
• HIST 339 - Topics in African History
• HIST 350 - Race and Ethnicity in U.S. History
• LANG 103 - Language and Culture (if not already used as a second language option)
• RLST 306 - Religions of the World
• RLST 320 - Contemporary Islam
• SOC 402 - Cultural Diversity or SCWK 402 - Cultural Diversity in American Society 
• SPAN 312 - Latin American Cultural Studies
• An additional 3 credits in foreign language at any level
• Study abroad in any accredited program (ex. Ireland or any CCSA program, Quebec, Costa Rica, Italy, etc.)
