Women’s Studies Minor

A Women’s Studies minor complements many different majors, such as nursing, physician assistant, social work, education, political science, or psychology. A Women’s Studies minor can help to customize the undergraduate experience, preparing students for various careers involving issues of diversity and social/political difference.

Minor Requirments (3 credits):
Elective Courses (15 credits):
Five courses chosen from the options listed under the major. Other courses may be approved with the program coordinator’s approval.
- Credits must come from 3 different academic disciplines
- 9 credits must be at the 300 level or higher
- Chosen courses must cover each of the following categories: Skills, Knowledge, Values
- An internship or independent study is encouraged
