• Three credits in Mathematics (at least MATH 110  or higher) or Statistics (any STAT course)

• Two additional courses (six-eight credits) of professional electives  as approved by the Department of Physician Assistant Science

Students are also strongly encouraged to select an academic minor that matches their individual interest and enhances their professional profile as a physician assistant graduate.  Students who choose not to pursue an academic minor may choose to take additional free elective courses.

PA 200 is open to all majors.

PA 201, 202, 301, and 302 are open to current Physician Assistant and Health Care Studies majors with the Pre-PA concentration; there is limited availability to pre-professional science majors with permission of Department Chair.

All remaining PA courses are only open to current Physician Assistant majors.
