Program Description:
The Literature minor offers students the opportunity to enhance their research and analytical skills in pursuit of greater understanding and appreciation of selected literary works, authors, periods, and/or trends in the study of literature.
Student Learning Outcomes:
Students who complete the Literature minor will be able to do the following:
- demonstrate their comprehension and appreciation of studied literary works, authors, periods, and trends;
- demonstrate their abilities to conduct research into inquiries related to such subjects.
Total Credits Required:
15 credits

Requirements: (15 credits)
Fifteen credits from LIT courses at the 200 level and above, with at least six credits at the 300 level or above and no more than three credits to come from independent study or research
