Program Description:

The Digital Media minor can be earned with any major.

Student Learning Outcomes:

• Develop industry-standard writing, editing, presentation and public speaking skills.
• Work competently with various digital media tools, layout and design software and audio/video editing equipment to create content for digital, print, web and social media applications.
• Build media literacy skills with an emphasis on: (1) the ethical responsibilities of those who work in the Communications industry and; (2) the value of a free and responsible mass media in a democratic society.
