The Master of Health Science (MHSc) Program is an online post-baccalaureate degree offered through Saint Francis University. The MHSc program is designed for professionals in the healthcare setting who hold a baccalaureate degree and wish to pursue graduate education. The MHSc degree from Saint Francis prepares students to assume leadership roles in the healthcare industry such as department directors, healthcare service administrators, health educators, lab/clinic managers, or healthcare policy directors.
This 30-credit program of course work is offered via the Internet using Blackboard as the learning management system. It includes structured courses offering maximum flexibility for busy health professionals. Most full time employed health professionals can complete the program of study within a one and a half year period.
Admission Requirements
Applicants to the program must have graduated from an accredited institution, having obtained a bachelor’s degree. A cumulative QPA of 2.5 in the bachelor’s degree program is required for consideration of acceptance into the MHSc program.

Admissions are done on a rolling cycle. Courses will be offered during Fall, Spring and Summer sessions. Most MHSc courses are offered on an accelerated seven-week schedule. Scheduling first courses will be a collaborative effort between new students and their academic advisor.
Requirements for Degree Conferral
Students will qualify for the MHSc degree after completion of the 30-credit program of study with a minimum quality point average (QPA) of 2.8. In addition, students must maintain a grade of “C” or better in each of their individual courses. All program requirements must be completed within 5 years of enrollment.
