Requirements to be Admitted to the Program

Saint Francis University is selective in its admission of students into the post-baccalaureate paralegal certificate program. Applicants must possess, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution at the time of entry into the program. Applicants must have graduated with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.

To apply for admission, please send the following items to the School of Arts & Letters:
1. Completed application form
2. Official undergraduate (and graduate if applicable) transcripts
3. Sample of undergraduate/graduate written work or completed essay prompt included in application.
4. Resume
5. Two letters of recommendation.


Certificate Requirements

To earn a paralegal certificate, a student must successfully complete a minimum of 8 courses accounting for 24 credits. All students must successfully complete the Core curriculum composed of 5 courses accounting for 15 credits. Students must then successfully complete at least 3 elective courses accounting for 9 credits. Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
