Spanish Minor for Health Sciences

Minor Requirements:

15 credits in Spanish, the following four courses plus a HUGS UNITED service trip to a Spanish-speaking country. Students must serve as Spanish interpreters to the medical teams in the program. Students sign up for SPAN 488  in the semester they attend the HUGS service program to receive 3 credits.

• SPAN 202 - Intermediate Spanish II (may be fulfilled through CLEP or AP exams)
• SPAN 203 - Conversational Medical Spanish
• SPAN 303 - Advanced Medical Spanish
• SPAN 312 - Latin American Cultural Studies
