The interdisciplinary Women’s Studies major is an opportunity for students to pursue their interests in diversity and to consider issues of social/political difference. Providing a concentrated area of study, the Women’s Study major is a good choice of a second major for those contemplating careers in business, law, medicine, or other human services professions.

Major Requirements (30 credits)
Elective Courses (12 credits)
Students will choose 4 additional courses from the following: 2 courses must be 300 level or higher and must come from 2 different disciplines. Chosen courses must fulfill each of the Skills, Knowledge, and Values areas with the fourth course coming from any area. An internship or independent study is encouraged. |
