ENVE 425 - Drinking Water Treatment & Distribution (3 credits) This course covers the hydraulics of drinking water distribution and the physicochemical processes of
drinking water treatment both in the context of municipal water system design. Emphasis is placed on
the sizing of unit processes and the operation of the units when combined into a system. The context for
the course is founded in the regulatory structures and societal expectations that govern water
treatment and delivery goals. Computational tools will be used to complete a significant design project. Prerequisite(s): ENVE 312 Spring.
