ENGR 250 - Solid Modeling and CAD (3 credits) Prepare hand sketches and engineering drawings using some drafting tools. Visualize 3D objects from 2D drawings, and vice-versa. Use commercial quality CAD software to draw two dimensional figures and drawings including orthographic projections, and working and assembly drawings. Use a commercial quality solid modeler to create solid models, and appropriate working and assembly drawings. Prepare solid models suitable for direct import into commercial quality finite-element, finite-difference, or finite-volume analysis codes. Lecture-recitation and Lab. Prerequisite(s): ENGR 101 Fall
