CHEM 121 - General Chemistry I

Introduction to the discipline of chemistry with an emphasis on inorganic and analytical chemistry, covering atomic structure, stoichiometry of chemical structures, thermochemistry, electronic structures, chemical bonding, molecular geometry, gas laws, and interpretation of experimental data. This course is intended for science majors, pre-professional majors, and students interested in a chemistry minor. Three lecture periods and one four-hour laboratory. Fall.
